- Educational Requirements:
- MD degree (or foreign equivalent).
- Board certified or board eligible (or foreign equivalent) by the American Board of Surgery.
- Training and Experience:
- Completion of a one-year accredited surgery fellowship program, one-year pediatric abdominal transplant post-fellowship, or fellowship training with one month of experience in pediatric transplant.
- Licensure: Must be licensed to practice medicine in Washington by the time of appointment.
- Visa Sponsorship: Candidates from foreign (non-U.S.) medical schools must have completed all three steps of the U.S. Medical Licensing Exam (USMLE) or an equivalent as determined by the Secretary of Health and Human Services to be eligible for University sponsorship for an H-1B visa.
